Within the country plan for development of the Upper Egypt, And under the keen interest of the political leadership in the development of Upper Egypt , On Wednesday 5/4/2017 Dr. Mostafa Madbouli Minister of Housing and Utilities, Dr. Ayman Abdel Moneim, Governor of Sohag , General El-sayed Al-Ashri, Chairman of the National Authority for Potable Water and Sanitation , Mr. Mamdouh Raslan Chairman of Holding Company for Potable Water , Eng. Abdulmutallab Mamdouh Amara, Vice President of Urban Communities Authority and supervisor of the development of new cities , And a delegation from the Ministry of Housing visited the drinking water plants that were implemented by the Egyptian contracting company in Sohag governorate .
During the tour, the Minister and the accompanying delegation inspected the works of the new Sohag Water Station with capacity 35000 m3/day and Sohag West Water Station with capacity 75000 m3/day and Tema Water Station with capacity 86000 m3/day which consedered the largest water station in Upper Egypt .
The Minister and the delegation expressed their great admiration for the level of execution in the stations mentioned and the volume of work carried out at these stations at the same time with a total value of approxmately 600 million pounds and was implemented by the Egyptian contracting company as one of its kind by the implementation of 3 giant stations in the same time and to implement the deadlines as opposed to other projects being implemented in Sohag.
Which illustrates the progress achieved by the company in the implementation of major projects inside and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt .
The delegation congratulated the company, represented by Mr. Eng. Fayek Al Banna, Chairman and Managing Director, Eng. Ahmed Zaghloul, Managing Director of the Company and the Execution Sector in Sohag, Eng. Mokhtar Ali Ibrahim, and the Sector Workers for this unprecedented achievement.
