On Wednesday, 5 April 2017,Mr Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Mahrouqi, Chairman of the General Authority for Electricity and Water of Oman and his accompanying delegation, visited the Egyptian contracting company Moukhtar Ibrahim as part of his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Mahmoud Hijazi, Chairman of the Holding Company for Construction and Eng. Fayek El Banna, Chairman and Managing Director of the Egyptian Contracting Company, Mokhtar Ibrahim, and members of the Board of Directors of the Company.
A presentation has been made Including the major projects inside and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt, which the company implemented, noting that the volume of projects executed and being implemented in the Arab Republic of Egypt is more than 33 billion pounds, the Sultanate of Oman 148 million Omani riyals, and the UAE is more than 3 billion dirhams.
His Excellency visited the 6th October Water Plant project, which is worth LE 526 million,And the project of the water outlet of New Cairo, which is worth 402 million pounds, One of the largest projects executed by the Egyptian contracting company "Mukhtar Ibrahim".
His Excellency praised the company's activities within the Sultanate of Oman and the company's implementation of projects according to technical specifications and time programs,
The company's activities started in the Sultanate of Oman as a global company since 1999. It is worth mentioning that the Board of Directors' policy is to increase the presence in the Sultanate of Oman in the next stage, in accordance with the directives of the Engineer, Chairman of the Holding Company for Construction and Development.
